⁵² Everyone was weeping and mourning for her, but he said, “Stop your weeping! She is not dead; she is asleep.” ⁵³ They laughed at him because they knew that she had died.

⁵⁴ However, Jesus took her by the hand and called out to her, “Little child, arise.”
